COVID-19 presented the biggest challenge in 2020 and EBRPHA demonstrated leadership in a rapid response and multiple adaptations to continue the critical work of the organization. The Executive Team determined three high priorities: 1) Wellness of Families and the EBRPHA Team, 2) Continuity of Services and 3) Stakeholder Communication and Coordination.

EBRPHA’s leadership and team met the challenges of 2020 with innovation, flexibility and vision. One of our first responses to the COVID-19 threat was to provide “CARE Packages” to each affordable housing community. These kits contained information and emergency supplies. In tandem with this distribution, residents were registered for the 2020 Census so that our communities would be counted in this critical metric that determines substantial amounts of Federal funding.
